Open Your Eyes.

So, this is for 's photography contest. The theme is bullying.
I was heavily inspired by the song Rise and Shine by Blood on the Dance Floor, which describes the despair of being bullied, the anger, the dream of revenge, and the ultimate dream of freedom in being who you are and rising above your pain and fear.

-The crime scene tape in the second shot is to represent when bullying goes too far. Sometimes, the victim retaliates. Other times, the bully is the one who brings things to this point. Either way, the results are always tragic, and never necessary.

-The clock, bullet, and cross in the third shot represent how time can weigh down the victims of bullying, bringing them to the point of desperation (represented by the bullet). The cross is there to represent hope, however, a symbol of redemption, light, a saviour or a saving grace.

I put a lot of time and thought into this picture; I hope you all like it.
